Hehe, it was predicted in the beginning of August:Compyfox wrote:There are no results out - how would you know that?
EDIT:
Oh wait... Twitter, and then the Newsfeed.
THAT is indeed surprising. The Chorus was nothing special.
(...)
I am surprised that "EpiCentre" or "Guitar Gadgets" weren't higher on the list. These two toys were really fun and innovative IMO.
Oh and next time... more "Mobile Apps" please. That one iOS entry pretty much was an automatic winner.

+1 for more iOS entries next time!

I think they just ordered the entries, because it wasn't like that a few minutes ago.
Thanks vladg for the tip, and congratulations for your second place

Last time the entries were listed on the main page in order after the results were announced; seems that way this time too going by the first three. Well done if so.Wolfen666 wrote:Obviously, I'd like to see the full ranking

Congratulations to the top placers, nothing I voted for made it, but well done to all Dev's.
Would be nice to see some updates and fixes now it's all over.

After reading this I don't want to sound like a conspiracy theory guy, but I would really like to know how many new KVR members who registered in August voted for Acon Digital...vladg wrote:Hehe, it was predicted in the beginning of August:

Don't get me wrong, I also voted for Multiply and think it's a great plugin, but I would really love to see the statistics.
New users PM me for a 10% FabFilter or 20% MeldaProduction/United Plugins discount

My votes were as follows:
Xenobioz Lucid - 1 point.
Solicito Crio - 2 points.
Ecoloop - 3 points.
Acrobatics Mate - 4 points.
Mormox Imitate - 5 points.
If I had got myself organised more and tried out VST Zone's Strum, my votes would have been different.

It won because of AAX / ProTools?vladg wrote:Hehe, it was predicted in the beginning of August:

The plugin format that is the least most supported?! Yet the majority of the "big league music industry" insists that ProTools is an "industry standard"?!
Okay... sure.
Kind of agree with lesha here...
And more Android please. Best if both.vladg wrote:+1 for more iOS entries next time!
Also not surprised that Abstract Groove is that far down in the list (K4 script, limited to Kontakt 5.x - if it wouldn't be a pain to covert them into REX!). Then again, it was better (from first impression) than Dr Doubledrop and King Collection.Wolfen666 wrote:So the ranking is this :
1. Multiply by Acon Digital <<< still think it's too high placed!
2. Nova 67P by Vladg/sound <<< can't wait for the GUI update, best cross platform plugin IMO
3. Emissary by Ignite Amps <<< solid hi gain amp, but IMO nothing more
4. Flextron DC14 by AXP <<< couldn't get a tone out of it that I liked, but the concept was interesting
5. Lokomotiv by Archetype Instruments <<< Surprising high place for a "simple" synth!
6. Guitar Gadgets by Musical Entropy <<< did not expect that, should have been higher IMO
7. Toned by LVC Audio <<< their other tools are interesting, this one didn't impress me
...
9. ReFine by lkjb <<< I didn't hear any difference after using this one, surprised that it's that high
...
12. Paraphasis by Virtual Analogy <<< should have been at the top spot of the synths!
13. Epicentre by TD <<< a bit disappointed to see it that far down, my personal highlight this DC
...
15. blewn by xoxos <<< middle field, but the "no documentation" was a major turnoff for me
...
29. JBM Zoundle by JoBroMedia <<< that hurts
...
Congrats to the winners anyway.
Though it still doesn't feel right to me.

I'm entirely pleased with my 29th place. I went in just for the sh*ts and giggles.
