I am running a 1995 Ford Escort that is on it's last legs. Been driveing with a suspended liscence and registration cause I can't afford the insurance. Won't be doing that after the end of the month so I will be hoofing it for awhile. Got to pay off the Damn computers that I bought for way too much money. 8)

Well mine's a Celeron 800, 640mb ram, 20 mb hd.
It's underpowered, but the worst part is the noise!

Damn I want a laptop...

i managed to make lots of music on my old pentium 266 :)

my not-so-new-anymore computer is a dual pentium 1000 which is plenty of horsepower to make music to video... but of course i am lusting after something more powerful also. Garritan personal Orchestra is the first program i've noticed a lack of horsepower to use, which was dissapointing... but loading an entire symphony orchestra into a huge stack of NNXT samplers is ez pz for my computer so i will still be doing that for a while.

when i buy a new puter sometime it will have to be one with dual processors again, it makes a huge difference.

My worst machine? 1800XP Athlon from Scan computers. Great in many ways. Sounded like a f*cking jet engine. Got rid of it. Couldn't stand the noise even when I wasn't doing music.

I have a Commodore SX-64 (one of the suitcase jobs) currently hooked up to my music rig. I'm currently using it for sound generation but I'm exploring sequencing options with it.

If Vince Clarke can do it...

Pentium 233 64MB Ram...But I manage to get the job done.

Its better to have low resources and write/revord lots of music than get lazy just trying out sounds real-time on a cutting edge machine.

Well, thats just my opinion and I hope to keep recording stuff when I get a more serious machine :D

Well my desktop (AMD K6) actually blew up yesterday.
