Thank you Jonas for lowering the price, I am sure many people will be glad to see the new price. I would probably have bought it even for the full price as I didn't thought for even one second that it was overpriced.
With the new price it's not even a question for me whether to buy it or not. I just have to buy it later because I just spent all my money on all these crazy deals. It's always useful to get more synths in my toolbox that don't use much cpu (for layering purposes or if I am running out of juice in large projects) And it's 1000 new presets to explore.

Jonas, is the demo supposed to come with all the presets? I only have about a hundred with mine, something like that (definitely not a thousand.).

NFR really puts me off buying too, you needn't worry about lots of secondhand sales, I did a search on the Marketplace, and wrote about it in another thread - even the most successful synths only had something like five to six secondhand sales per year- well, offers for sale, I don't know if all of them actually sold or not.

1. The demo comes with all presets. You have to switch the "bank" and "category" to reach all of them.
2. The NFR is basically to save myself the work related to re-licensing. I changed the license a year or two ago...

Does one really have to worry about the NFR status, when it only costs 60 €? Really, it's a steal for that price... considering the go rate for used stuff is about 50 % of the new price, you'd get like 30 € when you sell it. Work 2 hours more, and you don't have to sell it.

It was a steal at that price last year.
This year it's just a reasonable price.
With the NFR status, I'll wait for a 30% or more deal to consider.
(Even Image LIne has me waiting for a 'Stupid Deal' to pick any of their things up.)

It is a good synth though.

Thanks for the info, Jonas, I will have another look at the demo now. I don't think you'll have much work with re-licensing, (I don't expectt many buyers will re-sell it), but I think you'll get more sales if you get rid of the NFR. But it sounds great, and the CPU is amazingly low, and I like the interface personally, I don't know what others are complaining about.

Hi Helix friends,

I am new to this forum and just bought Audjoo Helix. First I would like to congratulate Jonas for the amazing job of creating an awesome synth from a 4.7 MB file! What kind of magic is that? It remindes me of the mythologic Pandoras Box! LOL.

I have 3 main questions for the users experts.

Can we load any midi file into the arpeggiator ? In my first search I could not find any way of doing this. Are those LFOs the arpeggiator of this beast? Is there any tutorial around?

Since I have installed two instances of this synth (32 and 64 .dll) How should I know which one I am using in my DAW? Is there any mark telling us that we are using the 64 version?

What about the owners manual? Where is it? Maybe Jonas could include it in the download file.

That demo is fantastic, thanks Vort3x! Very impressive sounds, and beautiful music too.
I don't know why people are complaining about the interface, I think it looks really clear and well designed. I couldn't get any patches to go above 3% CPU on my i7 860, with eight notes playing.
Does the demo come with all the patches? It looks like it's only got a small selection.

The interface is the only dealbreaker for me - not everyone has perfect sight, and without zooming patching gets tiring fast.

An AMAZINGLY CPU efficient synth with a clear and original sound. Very tough and foreboding for me to program for some reason, so time consuming. Plus doesn't ship with enough patches in my opinion. but I feel very silly for not being a Helix fanboy as it really is an superb sounding and resource efficient synth which i don't think EVER crashed on me… go figure

If a person spends 30 seconds playing each preset that comes with Helix it would take him 10 hours to go through all of them. I can only speak for my self but 1200+ factory presets seems to be more than enough.

If there would be some kind of zooming possible, I could live with that design...but I guess we cannot really expect U-he product support style here, unfortunately...

If you're both using windows, consider installing 'magnifier' (a windows program) and then adjust the size of the window to suit the soft synth....keep 'magnifier' on the task bar.
