The price of MXXX is steep, but when you consider what you get, even at full price it's a bargain. I get that not everyone can shell out all that at one time, but that's what Core is for. Get Core and slowly over time add what you want to it. Melda is constantly having sales. It might take you a while, but before you know it, you'll have the full deal, if that's your goal.OneOfManyPauls wrote:Very basic? i think that depends on how much time you are willing to spend with it. It's a totally different beast to HOFA System.mike_the_ranger wrote:Unfortunately I think it is a brainer because you have to calculate first which additional plugins you need to buy... The cascading modular system with feedback opens all kind of doors for creativity.
Even with just mxxxcore you can create massively complex delays with the included delay tap and filter modules (which you can use to make a reverb too if you want), through to full blown synths using multiple instances of the included highly spec'd oscillator and filter modules - there's even a midi arpeggiator in there too.
Then you can create control panels for what you've created and modulate every aspect to a staggering degree with LFO's, step sequencers, envelopes etc.

...it´s for 500,00 € on sale on MeldaProduction this week and this price is incredible. MPowersynth, MTurboReverb, MMorph, MUnison, MVocoder and MSpectralDelay are worth the price alone...but you get about 70 modules in this modular monster and modular building blocks which are all very good sounding, versatile and extremely useable. You will be in modulating heaven too and when something is limiting to you, you just open a new MXXX within the first MXXX-instance...it´s sheer madness and here you can see the devotion and the unmatched vision of Vojtech. In addition, if you are going for the MCompleteBundle this is a kind of a good investment because it counts for the future upgrade-prices for other bundles.
I already had very much modules/standalone plugins from Melda and used their modules in MXXXCore and upgraded to MXXX. It´s incredible what you can build within the modular structure.
There is only one single small problem...everything in existence is transient soooo
...B E W A R E...
...your finite lifetime will not be enough to explore everything in MXXX and you will be totally lost in hours of hours forgetting everything around you except your sound-mangling experiments.
I have to state again, there is definitely NOTHING else which can be compared to the power of this modular monster.
A joyful modulation time to you all

No. If the plugins are regularly on sale for 50% off, they're only worth the discounted price at max. And even there meldaproduction will make profitnichttuntun wrote:...it´s for 500,00 € on sale on MeldaProduction this week and this price is incredible. I don't have mxxx full (i have mxxx core + mcreativefxbundle), but powersynth shows as a module in mxxx.jsp1979 wrote:MPowersynth is not in MXXX, though, right?
You can make a pretty decent monosynth just with mxxx core using the included oscillator and filter modules.

Of course they still make profit, what's a base for developing further plugins, maintainance and providing updates...and for getting butter on the bread.marzelli wrote:No. If the plugins are regularly on sale for 50% off, they're only worth the discounted price at max. Compared to other products and value on the market it is a complete unmatched bargain... you get much much much much much very much much much more for 500 bucks compared to what you can get elsewhere for that kind of money. I don't think there is something like MTurboReverb out there at the moment and that is just one module and MXXX is unparalled anyways and noone will be able to say otherwise seriously.
