Going to start sending out the surprise bag in a few minutes to all that posted.

The metrics are just different with freemium and I do get that, 4K uniques now, no sales, not sustainable and all eyes are on this tool so the other stuff on my site stopped selling for now too lol. I'll figure it out and am happy it's getting recognition/shared and being enjoyed - the money has always been but a cool side effect and I haz some now so I'm not stressing it was just a sharp wake up call.

I even got some really heartfelt PM's from some of you guys that's really REALLY sweet of you family thank you!

Onwards and upwards this has been a good crash course in the freemium model - I'm going to give it a week and probably readjust (starting with a big sale on the expansions or something).

Anyway, surprise bags incoming to all that posted in this thread starting now.

Yeah well just went and got the lot. $50 is pretty darn reasonable IMO.

So far I see DrumTroop as a rapid production tool that gives me the ability to generate grooves and beats in genre's that I have not previously spent much time exploring.

Also appreciate how all pads are mapped across 16 stereo outs rather than lumped on one channel by default.

We've had a few sales since readjusting the initial price point specials now, so kudos for being one of the first to get/use this sound library. Especially since you just grabbed the whole slate vs one.

#RapidProductionTool RPT < I like that I'm going to have to use it too, thank you again for the support and comments

Don't give up hope Norbz. Give folks a little time to play with their new toy. Many of us had to wait until the weekend to install. Have you considered an upgrade path to the full bundle? Say I buy a library this week and another at Christmas, would there eventually be a way to upgrade and get all the packs for a discount that takes into consideration that 2 of the 7 packs are already owned? Just curious. Also I saw that you will be porting over some of your other recent VSTi's. That's great. Hope you do this for all of the recent ones for which you had giveaways

Looks like there are plans for at least 2 of them.

Hey Norbz,

thx for the additional teaser of your expansion packs. I think they sound pretty damn cool and professional. Very HQ. As some posters mentioned before you will get some serious bang for the buck especially when you are not that familiar with that kind of genre.

Just curious: if I would buy an expansion would get the single wav files as well? Don´t get me wrong: I really appreciate your mapping but if I feel that eg. some Chants could be modified to fit my needs would that be possible? I really had some serious fun in using drumTroop and the sound of them is really exceptional but sometimes I would like to have more control over some of the samples as well...

The ragga chants rock (and I am an oldschool Jungle / DnB guy from the early 90s ) but it would be cool to have them as one shots wav files as well so I could manipulate them the way I need within my dedicated sampler as well.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the current workflow of your drumtrooper engine. Actually I really enjoy loading a xy kit and get some really dope state of the art sound but sometimes I wish I would have more control over the original sample as well...which brings me to the next question: are those reggea chants/vox/skits etc all exclusive?

There's no upgrade path but that's something to think about for sure. Sales have also picked up quite a bit today I guess the price drop and weekend being here did help!

@Halma: Thx! Yes you get all of the .wav files for all of the expansions except for the UrbanBooms one - only because that one was cherry picked from MANY of our newest unreleased folders that are supposed to be preserved for dubturbo4 but I decided to tease the market with them with this reservation. However all the other ones have original samples ready to import into your other samplers (actually - there's even bonus samples in a few of the folders - namely the urban chants one has 100+ extra chants among other stuff). *All of the ragga samples are my friend and I doing them here in the studio and heavily processing them;) all in-house all exclusive (I grew up with Jamaicans and did a good 5 years in the rave circuits, so I speak your language re lighta in a de air my junglist bredrin lol. You'd like the VoxnBeatBox vsti - http://www.dubturbo.com/dt4-vsti-voxnbeatbox.php- nothing but stuff from that era). I'll probably be converting this to a drumtroop expansion in time as well.

Have had no time to explore yet, but look forward to try the kits

I assume you can load samples into it right. Also, is there a way to direct the vsti to some sample folder/s and have them load one or all slots randomly. I'm currently searching for something like this, though I'd put in a request since you seem to be quite an active developer

First of all, Frank, a huge thank you. I'm going to give you all the expansions to say thanks, and make you some breakfast if I'm ever in Germany lol.

Secondly, you have a really great knack for this stuff, you're going to do well with your channel imo. Made me laugh quite a few times (the war sounds walkthrough was awesome) and your humble/friendly nature comes across well.
