I couldn't get the download on my Android tablet, but it worked (just before crashing) on my Android phone ... seems like pot luck.

Well finally we got some movement and a message saying the gift had been sent. But then it just froze up again.

Thanks for Beatzille but Beat-fist is a fail, indeed an ex-app.

I think it doesn't accept all email addresses. I tried another two (from the German page this time): the first one gave a very meaningless message (couldn't store data, try again or something), but the second one worked. Seen the other problems, the app builder should have done his job a better before a large release in the wild.

The plugin web page (http://www.studiodrive.de/?t=plugins_overview) also is buggy: it loses page orientation when a selection is made. Same maker?

I was able to get the app and log in on my android phone, but every time I click the link at the top i get a blank popup with an 'OK' button. Nothing else. Not sure if I'm missing something or what.....

Ah, my emails were getting sent to spam because they were in German. Since apparently, the app decided to ignore my preference of English. Whatever, at least I got the dl.

The plugin is so worth whatever hoops you need to jump through. It definitely makes me want to buy Bazille when I have the cash. I'd love to see that app fixed up too, I could really use an app like that but would much rather surf a webpage than deal with app bugs. It sends you out anyhow, and you can get the same content really by subscribing to sites using any decent news reader. IMO a better use of their resources would be to simply make a decent mobile-ready version of their site presenting the same information, and let the user choose a mobile or desktop view. Talking about this makes me want to go find a news reader now.

Feedly is great, been using it since Google Reader got sacked.

For anybody who can't register for an account in the app (the registration part crashed the app on my device) and is unaware, you can register for a studiodrive account online: http://www.studiodrive.de/?t=register. Then you can simply log into your account in the app, click the banner, and you're set!
