Also, I want to say they have the quickest, most responsive support I've ever seen.

I just requested a pas reset and they responded in 3 minutes of my email!

Yeah the fact their support is great and they are very good about providing minor updates and video tutorials/content etc. does make me want to support them, just a little more than I can afford right now for the use I personally would get out of it

No. It's only an option. You can still activate it to your computer. 2 activations if I remember correctly.

I just did the editor to studio upgrade- 125 USD on audiodeluxe 'no brainer'!
Looking forward to trying it in Studio One 3 tonight

that's what I was hoping but not according to this entry in the iLok manager

only the iLok2 icon is highlighted - the others are greyed out

Ah, no - I see.

Start it, it says "Welcome! ...to activate...on this computer, click activate"

Now I feel like I should wait for iLok2 to prevent locking it down to machines rather than iLoks.
Do we know if the license can be transferred away from computer and back to iLok2?

AFAIK they wrote that the license transfer to an iLok cannot be reversed. But you should contact Celemony to be sure.

Even $ 125 isn't that awesome if you get a new upgrade of a vocal correcting tool, where the vocal correcting and pitch shifting algorithms haven't developed at all, you get exactly as natural/unnatural results as before the update - the major advantage is that now you can hide/mask your bad vocals easier under the sound effecting/fx.
