Congratulations on the release Jack!
Many thanks again for kindly hooking me up with v1 after I preordered v2. I've had so much fun with it during the wait.
Off to give v2 a spin!

Love this synth!
AAX would be amazing, but i'm just glad I can run it on my mac now.
Previously I was running it externally via an old PC laptop. Still, was worth the effort!
Really generous upgrade discount as well.

I apologize if I overlooked your question. Unfortunately I have no plans to increase the size of the GUI as a whole, but there are things I can do to improve it. Contrasting the text on the orange buttons like mentioned above is something that I can definitely do. But as for the size of the fonts, I think they're pretty reasonable in comparison to other plugins.david.beholder wrote:Nope, you're not alone. Palette and size probably wouldn't work with 30" monitor i.e. it would be too small i.e. unreadable i.e. untweakable.fluffy_little_something wrote: Am I the only one that can't read the black fonts on dark orange buttons? Maybe it would have been better to invert the font color with red buttons as well, like with those blue tabs of the mod section. If the fonts were in that light beige color of the Phonec panel, contrast would be way better.
Few weeks ago in pre-release thread I've asked about GUI changes and the answer was 15 seconds of silence

Phonec 2 uses Chris Kerry's BiQuad Filter which produces commonly used algorithms, but no emulations in particular.e-modic wrote:Hello Jack,
was there any modell of a hardware synth for an emulation when you developed the Filters?

Jack has offered an extremely, extremely generous discount for Phonec 1 owners. I am absolutely blown away and will be purchasing tonight!
Phonec is the little synth that could
So much charm and character in such a wee frame!
Dubtron3 64-bit, anyone?

I really hope for future plugins you consider a larger GUI. I don't know if your resolution is just really low, or what plugins you are comparing yours to, but the GUI is very small.jack [psychicmodulation] wrote:I apologize if I overlooked your question. I've already mentioned that I simply zoom into use, but it would be great to not have to do this. I'm on a 2K resolution and when I upgrade, I'll be moving to 4K.
I love the synth... I love the character, but please consider, for future projects, a larger GUI.

This thing just plain rules. Oozes character. I now have my cherished Phonec in 64-bit, yay!
Now I'm wondering if I can somehow transpose/convert/approximate some of my favourite Phonec 1 presets like Hallows. Hmmmmmmmmm.

Make sure the file is installed in "/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components".fup4000 wrote:Hello,

Also in Ableton Live, open "Preferences", and on the "File \ Folder" tab, under "Plugin Sources", make sure "Use Audio Units" is switched on.
