Yeah, time stretch is one of them.pljones wrote:Well, V8's "big thing" is "time stretch the way Jo does it", so maybe it'll do what you want, too.

Thanks...but I know how to change the tempo. My problem is though,is that when I begin to record,it jumps right back to the original tempo.bibz1st wrote:Just click and drag inside the tempo window to alter the speed, or even double click it and type exact speed requiredAlesisVi61 wrote:
Another problem that I ran into,is that when I tried to slow down the tempo to record 16th notes more accurately and then bring it back up to the original tempo...well...I noticed that the only way to do this,is to insert tempo changes(which permanently changes the tempo...which requires you to go back into the tempo change mode...whereby you have to delete all of the values to get back to the original tempo.)
I can't work this way and no disrespect meant towards Jo,but I can't wait for one person,to render much needed features(that every other DAW on the market that I know of,already has.)
Mulab has been a work in progress for 5 years....so waiting for version 8 that might have the features I need,is not a rosy prospect.
I think Jo needs to hire a team or at least one other person(that of course will drive up the cost of MuLab's products, but I can live with that.)
It's interesting to me though, that Acoustica has a team behind thier products and their DAW is just as reasonably priced as MuLab(but of course, non of their included synths are on the same level as MUX Modular.)
I've already tested the MUX Modular demo in my Mixcraft 8 and it works great....so unless MuLab's V8 is released in the next few weeks,I'm going to go with the MUX VST.

I think you can automate tempo change, too. Can't check at the moment (we're moving things around and I'm not on my music PC).

Is it possible to add a scroll bar in the effect section? I mean, I can have up to ten effects in the chain. Inserting a dedicated conatiner doesn't feel fast workflow-wise. Other than that, it Looks awesome.

"up to ten effects in the chain" though? Racks don't have 10 slots and you can always have more than 10 plugins run together. I'm also not clear on what "Inserting a dedicated container" means -- if it's the rack, then just use the modular area instead. If it's the MUX, then just chain racks together. Both the MUX and the Rack Desk have scrollbars. It's flexible to work the way you want.
