Bitwig is all about making promises and not delivering. And now they want more money for stuff they promised in the past.
After 2 years of 'development' it is still a huge pile of bugs. New features? You mean new bugs? No thanks.

I remember when we were full of hope and good wishes for BW, we made songs and edited pics. It was the chosen one to kill Live and bring balance to the force.
How sad.
How sad.

So does that mean when a group of devs leaves bitwig and starts another daw, then that one will be the one to bring balance to the daws?rod_zero wrote:I remember when we were full of hope and good wishes for BW, we made songs and edited pics. I am very disappointed. This was supposed to be the 'DAW of the Future'.
However, when I, as not so experienced producer, look at all the education vids about Ableton, my choice is quickly made. What is worse: after more than 2 years I have no clue what Bigwig Team is up to. Lol I have this 'badge'... it's just so silly.

<It's is like Waves WUP with one crucial difference , Waves 9 has been out for years with numerous fixes for new OS etc with no need to pay WUP. When it goes to 10 then you can if you wish.>
@Woodsdenis, I think you nailed it.

Have they stated that you can download bug fixes updates once your subscription runs out?
This seems more like the ProTools model, except the upgrade fee is the same even if you let your sub lapse.
The problem with the PT model is that if your sub ends, you no longer have access to updates that fix bugs (even with a perpetual license).
