Doesn't hurt to ask who knows.c_voltage wrote:Though...maybe you right. Well, frankly to say, i did not really appreciate Litote, unfortunately (can say it went with the bundle, but i liked drum machine and delay), but i just appreciate the presence of automation of everything that isaMUSEd wrote:Actually I thought some more about it, and due to the way it works it's possible he can't, for a good reason. I just bought Output Movement which has a similar XY based modulation system. Point is all modulation is via the XY so you automate that or move it in realtime and that modulates what is in the deeper controls. If you started to automate those there would be a clash between the XY and your automation, they would be fighting each other, so maybe it's sensible not to allow it.c_voltage wrote:Yes, would be good if author fix it.aMUSEd wrote:Annoying you can’t automate the new controls though(and need say, the rest of their plugins have succeeded in this, that very good).
In any case i already sent request by mail, well, if the author will find it unnecessary, so be it.
But I don't think it is the purpose/philosophy behind Litote. I think it was primarily made to create soundscapes with lot of randomness and improbability, like a generative software but real time as an fx. Slap a big velvet reverb at the end of it and you got some pretty amazing moving organic sounds. Used raw as is, it sounds pretty dry and rough but with some effects after it, that is where it really starts to shine. For me it's really a tool to generate sounds to be used & manipulated further more after.
