Wow guys, you are fast
Anyway, yes, Outer Verb is now discontinued. I'm about to launch Outer Space, just give me some time to double check everything (just recovering from a fever
).

It sounds very hi-fi, modern and rich and full. It's got a bit different (cleaner?) vibe that the real one I once laid my hands on, but that isn't actually a bad thing. Mine sounded more enclosed, tiny and dirty af
PROS: Full, crisp sonic imprint, and I like that you can get almost chorus or ADT effects out of it.
CONS. I dunno, like I said I'm fussy about delays, but the way feedback resonance build up sounds like 70% tape-like and 30% unlike tape . Maybe steeper LP filter in feedback path would help. And the spring reverb could use a pinch of EQ boost around 2 to 3 khz.
But don't get me wrong, it's a plug worth buying.

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, when I actually compared my unit to some old plugins on the market I was surprised about how much "cleaner" my unit was. My Space Echo was serviced and restored with an original RT-1L tape. It can get dirty (actually very dirty), just not as easily as it's emulated somewhere else.zenvoxpop wrote:It sounds very hi-fi, modern and rich and full. I decided to make a plugin as close as possible to my unit. Other units might sound completely different (especially if maintained poorly), BUT, as said before, I have plans to add a rear/dropdown panel with additional settings (like pre/de emphasis, volume/pan for each head, additional parameters for wow/flutter/ducking, additional parameters for the tape emulation, etc...)
Maybe I should add some kind of "leaking capacitor" switch
