Man....that's some really cool stuff , like all the stuff i've heard from u......

U already know what i've told ya bout' "Preoccupied" and what u should do with it :D :D
Well...i think the same bout' this one too...
Really good production.....love the guitar melody...(even if just 3chords) and the sensations that this song can give ya......

I've just heard the Har version......
The atmospheric slides are very cool, give that proper touch to the song.......good ideas :D

Videoclip version needed here guys ;)

And let's wait for the incoming jaath action of mr.Griels :D :o

Har, I like that, can you give it me as say a 192k mp3 file. I'll chop it up and use some of it in there I'll wager. :D
Will do! :) It's actually two tracks of guitar: the more quiet atmospheric stuff going all the way through on one, and the more overdriven stuff that only kicks in during the "big" part that takes the song to its end (I really downmixed that track a lot, so as to just blend in with the synth pads, more for color/textures than anything).

I'll export both tracks as 2 192k mp3's when I get home from work tonight and will PM you with the URL's to download them from. :)

Har wrote: BTW: did anyone else think of the beginning of the Hum tune "Stars" when they first heard this tune (especially the very quiet parts)...?
Yes! :-o :D

Great to find a fellow hum fan... You'd Prefer An Astronaut is such an amazing record... :hail: Damn it's been ages since I listened to that record.. thanks for bringing it up.

Oh, and great track DT. Dickie Ashcroft indeed! :P Love the slide guitar, Har!

Hmmmm...that's odd: no problem getting to it here using either IE or Firefox. :?

I'm wondering if it might be some DNS strangeness...try this alternate URL instead and let me know if you have any better luck with it :)

Har, these are some REALLY nice guitars!
They could perhaps have a little less room/delay on them (well, only a *little* - I really like it spectacular too!), but that's about it!

Hum was (maybe is*) a shoegazing band from my hometown of Champaign-Urbana, IL... wall of fuzz to beat all walls of fuzz, swirly helicopter stuff, with strummy guitars and lovely songwriting. File along side My Bloody Valentine and Bailter Space...

Here's the first 30 seconds of the tune Har and I thought of... the strummy guitar comes in about 20 seconds in, after the wall of shite tails off..

You'd love em, I think.

* Since 1999, they've been mostly defunct... every once in a while they get together to play a show.. usually somewhere far away from me on an inconvenient night. :x So I haven't seen any of their reunion shows...

That's a very nice track Mr. DT.
Your best yet.

Good work Mr. Me! Prefer this mix to donk's original.. Lets Donk's vocals and guitar shine rather than be hid 'neath his Fruity bushel. Add Har's slide and this would be even better!
Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.
