i5-2500K was released January 2011, so old is of course a relative term but many people would consider it oldbungle wrote: For the record i would say your PC is average user and not old at all

Possibly the first serious contender to Limitless for the limiter crown... just my very biased opinion

I'm really out of the loop.
Can someone explain the connections between Vladg/sound and TDR?
It is my understanding that this is an updated version of this https://vladgsound.wordpress.com/plugins/limiter6/
Looks great!
thanks,
-dw

Here's karumba's (Jan Ohlhorst, developer of the "de-edger" plugin), explanation (german):

... as is Jan Ohlhorst.

= vlad - developer of limiter 6 - is team member at TDR already for a longer time now.genau, vlad (ursprüngliche entwickler vom limiter 6) ist schon seit längerem bei tokyo dawn labs.
... as is Jan Ohlhorst.

Yes, Vlad joined Tokyo Dawn Labs after our KVR DC 2012 "Proximity" joint venture. He is one half to Tokyo Dawn Labs. We then decided to combine our strengths in a more professional manner. Jan lately extended the team with his own brand and loosely independent DSP and UI development.
We're all using the same technical basis, so a bugfix in DeEdger (for example) most probably also fix the issue for our whole product line.

Looks amazing. I'm gonna have hard time finding a reason not to buy this.

CPU here is horrendous at 48% on an RME9632 with 256 samples latency (ancient CPU, yes. QC 9550. but other processors work...)
Professional technicians are assessed by the abilities they possess.
Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.
