Yeah right. My Secretary is out of town but as soon as my butler is finished walking the Corgis, I'll get him to make an appointment on my behalf.Rockatansky wrote:Easy to deal with. Just let your tax guy or lady handle this, and forward their bill to Plugin Alliance.

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Never did my own tax, I have someone do that for me.
I wonder if that's why I don't have any of the fancy things you have.
Confucamus.

Few years back when Ableton announced L9 their site showed upgrade to Suite for silly cheap. Quite a few forumites jumped on the deal quickly and a while later the pricing got sorted.
Ableton never asked the lucky few for the cash difference. I respect that.
/unrelated story.

But that is how it is supposed to be, one is bound to the price that is listed.samsam wrote:Ableton never asked the lucky few for the cash difference. I respect that.

Has anyone actually received additional information or Paypal invoices regarding this?

Just got this message, feel it in many ways is about the same thing, a vendor changing rules which has retrospective effects:

We have recently chosen a new service provider to manage our Refer a Friend program. Therefore, effective immediately, only new referrals will get you credit for your friends’ purchases or traffic. Referrals made prior to July 1, 2017 5am EST will no longer get you credit.
To continue to receive credit, please visit the Waves Refer a Friend page and refer your friends again.

Was thinking the same, the site's showing month long deals but no weekly deals and no voucher received.Erwin78 wrote:Haven't seen a newsletter with a voucher code for this month btw?
Did anybody else get it?

Maybe they can't update the site until everyone has paid their VAT.shonky wrote:Was thinking the same, the site's showing month long deals but no weekly deals and no voucher received.Erwin78 wrote:Haven't seen a newsletter with a voucher code for this month btw?

There is no backbone here. Obviously you and 90% people in this very thread never had company running or at least not lately.
I am.
They can't and are not allowed to pay this for themselves. If they want all by the book, legal and clean - it is CUSTOMER which need to pay that.
This is not my opinion this is a legal fact. Read again. Not opinion, FACT. I collect (and pay) this every 30 days. You do not mess with your TAX agency and you do not explain them - hey i did this way because some people at KVR wanted it this way. Haha. There is a law applicable in a country. It is clean and simple. Company need to follow it. End of story. Take it or leave it.
They said they had glitch in the system. It happens. If people (as so usual on KVR) want to make drama out of it then so be it.
My point is they are not allowed for making public cock measuring, hercules backboning or whatever idiotic theory some of you can think of.
I do get your point and maybe for such customers and for their inconvenience they could issue voucher for the same amount they now charge for - for customer next purchase in their shop. Now will you be happy for 2$ voucher or not it is up to you.
Just do not make drama out of it. If i am PA i would report this thread because it is doing more harm then good because people are spreading nonsense and could cause harm for company.
that post is complete nonsense.

I think the advice was more robust than professional, if there was any. Most likely just some accountant, without any sense of marketing or company image.1wob2many wrote:Nope, it was pretty much on the money.
I'm sure Plugin Alliance got some pretty robust professional advice before taking this step.
