Novation BassStation 2, Waldorf Blofeld (My 2 choices)

BS2 is a solid bread and butter lead and bass synth; the sound sits in the mix really well.

Blofeld is a classic synth that gives you more than the average synth; it is possible to keep the menu diving to a minimum and tweak away. Or you can get patches from a huge user community....ie. Don Solaris (debunked the digital realm only capabilities of this synth) . It Came out in 2008 and ppl still use it and name drop it all the time. My 2 cents anyway.

Tnx, but the BS2 is mono and Blofeld isn't my thing with the menu diving and the practice of locking part of your synth's abilities behind a pay wall (SL license).

The samples, for me, are a very small part of the Blofeld.
To put it in perspective, I have 3 Blofeld keyboards with SL pre-installed,
and I do not even use the samples.

So, for arguments sake, lets say you do buy the SL for the module.
You will quickly realize that with unisono at about 3 and a sample enabled,
you will get 3-4 notes of polyphony, and that is on a mono-timbral synth.

Although the Blofeld is advertised as multi-timbral, I feel it is better to use
as a monotimbral synth.
