I predict that in 5 years you will be doing soundtracks. This has all the right ingredients for a a good scifi film. It conjurs up so many images of biomorphic machines I can't help but think of one of my fave directors Ridley Scott, maybe you and he should get together for his next scifi epic.

Listening to alice right now. Very suspenseful, has all the right elements for a sci-fi film (as just stated above for biospheres). Spacy, metallic, and sinister.

I dont mean to be rude but this was 6:48 of boring self indulgence. Is this music meant to be used for anything? It could be a scifi atmosphere background track. But it sounds like you make interesting presets for synths and do long takes of single notes or the occasional chord and then post "songs" here.

Oh puhlease!!! Vurt has been on these boards for 545 days, and posted 12800 times. That's 23.59 times per day, seven days a week.
Or he posts once every hour, for every single hour per day.
Does he use KvR as his f**king DAW or what? I mean, why defend the guy - his music is boring and repetitive and you guys seem to worship him here at kvr? What is with that?
I have downloaded a bunch of his tracks - yes, more than 5, and basically, they are all the same bullshit formula. It sounds like some guys creating patches and hiting random arp'd notes.
I'm not going to post any of my music here; most of the stuff here is crap for god's sake. Except for Donkey f**ker, who actually does sound ok.
I found KvR via a magazine and good some great tips for VSTi's, but stumbled across the Music Cafe. Good for a f**king laugh.
One post per hour for 18 months!!! VURT: Get a life man - or learn how to play.
Or he posts once every hour, for every single hour per day.
Does he use KvR as his f**king DAW or what? I mean, why defend the guy - his music is boring and repetitive and you guys seem to worship him here at kvr? What is with that?

vurt is one of the many people at k-v-r that make this place interesting. he comments on peoples tunes, gives advice where possible and generally is a pretty nice guy.
i've met vurt (and his wife and kid) and can assure you that he does have a life.
he doesn't make have any boasts about his playing ability, in fact on many occasions he has himself said that his keyboard skills are crap, but that doesn't make his music bad.
if you don't like it fine, but come up with something a little more interesting to say than "this sucks shit and he should get a life"
or alternatively f**k off.

Man - there's some really great people in here with a very wide latitude when it comes to listening and commenting on another's music. The vibe is really peaceful and usually very friendly and helpful.
Maybe not everyone is a myoozical geenyis, but at least some people have the balls to put their stuff up. Where's yours?

2) I dont like Linkin Park/Marlon Manson. I like My Bloody Valentine/NiN/Tom Waits - so fuckin what?
3) Some people look upon music an an art form - some people look on it as a backing track to shag to. Some people are happy to paint by numbers while others are tortured/driven to create. Lets all pick a working formula and clone a thousand tracks and fill the fuckin pop charts. What a boring world! - your in the wrong place buddy (and I use the term VERY loosely).

5) I accept that you dont like Vurts tracks - I do - so what? In fact Im GLAD you dont like them as Im sure the man himself will tell you, some people make music for themselves and like to hear what their friends think.
6) I dont worship Vurt. Im interested in the mans opinions (he has been here a lot longer than me). I dont like all of his music. As someone struggling to get his head together and finish off tunes that mean something to me, I respect someone that seems to do it so effortlessly and with such humour. I do like 90% of them. Im haunted by a woman and I cant sleep. I couldnt count the times Ive gotten stoned, listened to VurtMuzique and gotten where I want to go - not that it has anything to do with you but I hope you read this John
