I'm pretty sure that the P&M plugins require activation. I have a few of them and they definitely work in demo mode without activation. I don't think that they hiss, they might, but I believe that they only work for about 30 minutes. I have a brand new install myself that has never seen them so maybe I'll install them and see what happens.Googly Smythe wrote:I noticed that Plug and Mix was mentioned...
I did a complete re-install of everything recently - I actually deleted the old partition and created a new one. I know that doesn't delete the data, but I think the old mbr or whatever Win10 uses, does get deleted.
Anyway, when I install the P&M stuff and open any of the plugins in Cubase, they work straight off - no demo-hiss, no request for a serial number, etc.
Same goes for the Kuasa stuff.
Can't remember where I downloaded the P&M installer from - user area or whatever, but the Kuasa ones I got straight from the Kuasa public download link.
And yes, my copies are paid for and legal!

I know what you mean, but I can't even find a way to authorise them. I've right-clicked everything looking for a menu item - nothing. When I first bought the plugins about 3 years ago, there was a menu item which is no longer present. Same with the Kuasa, there was a menu item asking for a licence file, like Valhalla stuff does. Not anymore. Hey ho.ghettosynth wrote:I'm pretty sure that the P&M plugins require activation. I have a few of them and they definitely work in demo mode without activation. No, I give up. Stuff I've paid for runs with no authorising, stuff I haven't paid for runs in demo mode. Hmm.
