I wish they'd do a decent port of the Bam reverb, that thing is so good.. I like the Biscuit plug-in, but I came to it after some familiarity with the box and they sound alike, but not the same and there was something pretty darn nice and crispy about the bit-depth reduction with the box that you don't quite get with the plug-in imo..

+1. I love my BAM. It would make a killer plugin. And imagine if the algorithms had names instead of just dots! I literally added a label to mine with the algo types.

i came also from dealing with the HW.
I didn´t liked the SW too much either. But for different reasons.

BAM in SW would be nice. But not as a 1:1 clone. Some things should then be reworked.
Dry-Wet mix sensibility -at lower/mid Wet settings- for example.

Yet, why not directly start to make such plugins in a SND-returnMix configuration ?
Anyway.

I always call BAM the closest thing to ValhallaVintageVerb in hardware. It's inspired by the 224, the EMT 250, and some other vintage topologies. VVV can get very much in the ballpark. The two products could be cousins. But that said, I'd still very much like that BAM flavor in software. I use mine on a pedalboard for my keys and not so much as a desktop reverb. That's where a plugin version would come into play.
