Ooo nice, 100,000 DM ! That’s a good job apparently. My job is not that good, but it’s pretty good. I just throw cash in my drawer as it won’t fit in my wallet, until it won’t fit in my drawer.elassi wrote: Sun Mar 03, 2019 8:06 pm Five grand? Pah, that's peanuts. Stop buying music stuff? Are you ready? Am I?

Interestingly, I have never historically been able to pull 5 grand out of my desk drawer.
In the last couple years, my interest in purchasing audio software and plugins has
seriously abated. Normally, I would spend that on plugins and whatnot. I have so
many (primarily effects), that it has even aided in detecting a strange bug in
Reason 10 that only occurs when it has to index > 1000 vst plugins
Anyway, now I have moved on to hardware for the most part, I guess. Which I am
finding quite different. It's not like I want to buy tons of synths, I am interested
in modular and thats 'mostly' about it. Even then, it's not just a wanton lust for
all things eurorack, it's mostly just stuff I find interesting. I like the idea of
musical contraptions. While I think something like a waldorf quantum is super cool,
I don't particularly want one, even though I could buy one easily (apparently).
I do have some light interest in the Elektron stuff, though it hasn't proven enough
to act upon. Another thing I would normally buy, would be guitars (expensive ones).
That interest hasn't changed beyond taking a back seat to the eurorack thing.
Am I ready to stop buying music stuff? Seemingly, no...

Speaking of buying stuff... I was wanting to download the free version of ColorTone by TriTone but their website has been completely down
Anyone know where I can get a copy?

I started keeping a list of all the commercial plugins I have on the back of an envelope. When I had to flip the envelope over to keep writing, I decided I didn't need to buy any more. It was SpecOps that put me over. I like that one; it's a good place to stop.

Have been ready for this ever since I started to buy music gear. I was even ready when I invaded KVR:

I absolutely swear, on the grave of my dear mom, that I will not buy Sampletank 4.
Not even when it goes on sale for €39.
