Killer!
This was an anthem for sure. We used to go mental when hearing it.
"I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms"
"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

To be fair this album under GAIA with Benno from Rank 1 just out is good, better than recent artist albums from other trance DJ's who think they are more underground, even going to the extent of saying their album wouldn't be commercial like some bigger names, yet it is compared to this:

Nova II, FL20+Fire, Sytrus, Transistor Bass, DUNE 3, Thorn, Viper, ANA 2 SynthMaster, Discovery Pro, Reason, SugarBytes, SoundToys, LION, TRIAD, Plugin-Alliance, T-Racks, AmpliTube, MODO Drum/Bass, iZotope MPS 2.

there's a whole lot more ferry than bt in that track, imo.
in most collabs I have a hard time telling what he could even have done, mostly I assume he just selected the drums. but this has none of the energy or music of an actual recent bt track such as LSTM.

I don't know if classic trance itself will make a comeback, but the sounds certainly have been. Quite a few experimental musicians have been incorporating the sounds of classic trance into their stuff. Then you've got the likes of the PC Music crew who've been bending a lot of trance tropes into hyperkinetic pop music.

Hasn't it already made a bit of a comeback? It might just not be classified that way anymore as Bicep tends to wind up lumped into techno. Several of the cuts from Bicep's 2017 album would probably have qualified if released 20 years earlier:
