Yes, that's right, there won't be a VST3 version. I've actually already said goodbye to Geist and have only been using Groove Agent SE in Cubase recently. But if I want to open older projects again, that will be difficult.
It's already been mentioned... Pluginchainer or Metaplugins. I bought the one from DDMF, highly recommended. I also use it for Absynth and it should also work with Geist...
