Not completely following the 2 artist rule of the OP, but for some weird reason I used to like to make mixed up Prog bands lol-----ex. Robert Fripp guitar, Tony Banks keys, Geddy Lee, bass, Guy Evans, drums etc......... I would try to set up rules so you couldn't have a band repeat in the line-up, but other times I would add another member from same band if it seemed to work.

A good time waster in a waiting room, trip, etc,........... or maybe not...........
