Still, it would be nice if you were consistent. At least within span of few dozens of minutes...

yes i hope they do clip launching. such modulator as see in the example is more sound design. sure it is usefull too, but they use a simple synth (organ) which have no modulator builtin and they use then thjis modulators. normaly synths have modulators and it is more easy to connect inside synths and so can spread the sounds or preview on sound browser. how does it work to save a entire sound of this ?. does it work in the browser sound preview so you hear the sound with all modulators that are add ?

7 times out of 10, I use plugins to modulate stuff in Studio One, but it's always nce to know that if I do want to go crazy with modulation, I can and in a fun way. But generally I modulate the audio channels themselves vie plugins as it's quicker, with plugins like this...http://www.cableguys.com/pancake.html . It's what I've used in almost all my tracks created in Studio One, for panning.

I keep meaning to give these a trial but I keep putting it off, they look great to cover everything S1 lacks in terms of modulating things

One unfortunate aspect of S1 in the automation vs modulation debate is that currently S1 does not allow writing in automation for a channel macro knob containing multiple parameters from a single lane (instead it creates individual automation lanes for each parameter mapped to the macro knob).

I do actually think the S1 automation is quite great and all the shapes and transform tools are powerful but this limitation does make it much more difficult to automate multiple parameters together when the need arises.

Personally I hope they fix that (and also add proper modulation options of some sort). We'll see what happens in v5!

The whole macro/multinstrument workflow in S1 in general seems half finished. It can really do with a little more love for sure. I very rarely see anyone use it because it's just not that convenient to use compared to the rest of the DAW. If they streamlined the interface a bit I would use it more.

Yeah totally agree with this sentiment. There's a lot of potential but it's hidden and feels incomplete. Hope they improve it... could open up a lot of sound design possibilities.
