Is it worth to buy Continua by Audio Damage？

I've never understood the value of a self-oscillating filter, especially if your synth has a sine wave oscillator option. I always thought it was one of those useless things people used to justify their bias towards analogue hardware that actually had little or no value in the real world. When/how do you use it?

It increases the range of timbral effects the filter can create and how they interact with the sound from the oscillators

The filters could also be 'juicier' (which also increases the range of timbres the filter can create)

The filter just needs a bit of character, some non-linearities to beef up the sound when you modulate the cutoff and/or resonance. It's a bit too tame. I have similar issues with Phaseplant's standard filter. They addressed it with a nice sounding filter effect but the main filter is still very ordinary.
