There is a second hand auction in another thread, maybe someone will donate there? I wish I could but never got into hardware plus I'm a little on the poor side.

Yes, 2 x NOS Clouds were added to the auction today, the first hardware to have entered this years auction. This is a discontinued and very sought-after Eurorack module, probably THE module to rule them all, if any.

A new and unopened NOS Clouds is a rarity! No longer available anywhere and likely the last unopened in the entire universe - so I expect them to raise quite a good amount of funds!

indeed!
i have a supercell, which is an expanded clouds thing.
but to add a mutable original would be nice

will be keeping an eye on that!

Guys and girls: We have raised over $10.000 so far there's still 19 days left but we really need your help to contact more companies in the audio industry. We are also depending on all the PR we can get, to help raise awareness of the auction and I need a few who can take contact to Futuremusic mag, Synthtopia, Computermusic, Sonicstate, S.O.S and any other news relevant site that covers the audio industry - any takers who can assist with that?

Great! Around 200+ companies and developers are contacted (not listing them all here...) but in general, if they are not on the auction list, then they are safe to contact.

Edit: Also... sometimes a company deliberately chooses to ignore the first email or maybe it landed in a spam folder or some support guy just threw it in the trash, but it's the voice of many that makes the difference here, so just go ahead and contact if they are not represented on the auction list, it's good and you can use Ctrl+F (Windows) to find a company on the auction page.

Okay, today we got Steinberg contributing with hardware and software. They are donating a UR816C which is a 16 x 16 USB 3.0 audio interface. They are also donating a license of Cubase 10.5 + Nuendo 10 + Iconica Opus + Absolute 4. That's a fine and generous contribution, so go place some bids and spread the word!

And don't forget the 2nd hand auction! There's around 50 different plugs'n'stuff to bid on too: viewtopic.php?f=43&t=553357
