That would be a nice addition for sure, I'll think about how to implement it.El°HYM wrote: Sat Nov 07, 2020 2:54 pmOne Thing which would be a really useful feature (in the future) would be more control over the #envelope, like Attack, Release maybe Intensity.

He's the reason why I sold my eurorack modular synth and started collecting test equipment stuff!Scotty wrote: Sat Nov 07, 2020 2:58 pm I am really glad to see this partnership. I really enjoy Hainbach's content and I appreciate his ears. I don't have a room big enough for a wall of signal generators and HP pulse code devices. This will do nicely. Great work. This thing sounds alive.

As soon as I watched the video about the wire recorder I knew it had to be modeled as a plugin!

Yes, I did the code, he provided the device, and also did all the measurements, comparisons, fine-tuning, etc...Dazd_N_Confuzd wrote: Sat Nov 07, 2020 7:28 pmI don't think Hainbach made this though, as in the code was written by AudioThing? I think Hainbach provided the original device that was modelled.
It was a great collab as we share the same passion for all these rare vintage devices.
We are already talking about new projects, we'll see how it goes

A brief comparison between Wavesfactory Echo Cat VS AudioThing Wires VS Valhalla Delay.
All 3 are nicely different, each one has its strengths.

Hainbach has interesting taste, and gravitates toward things that are a bit different and beautifully quirky. Chances are, anything where he works with a solid plugin developer is going to be worth checking out.
SonicLab Fundamental was the other plugin he was involved with -- an emulation of a tube-based test signal oscillator, with some lovely distortion, expanded to an additive stereo 8-oscillator drone monster. (It also got tweaked to work especially well with the Sensel Morph Buchla Thunder overlay, for those interested in that.)

I was going to say something along those lines, but you worded it better foosnarkfoosnark wrote: Sun Nov 08, 2020 3:56 pmHainbach has interesting taste, and gravitates toward things that are a bit different and beautifully quirky. Sounds great. Bought it.
I wonder which UI library they're using. Like a few other plugins I've used it ignores the fact that I'm using my mouse left-handed. I have to switch buttons to be able to use it.

Surely there must be consensus by now...

We are using JUCE and this is a known issue but only on Windows (macOS is fine). However, we have implemented a workaround, if you click on the options menu ☰ you can select Swap Mouse Buttons.pough wrote: Sun Nov 08, 2020 9:57 pm Sounds great. Bought it.

FYI: The Reels cross-discount also works the other way. If you buy Wires, you can get Reels for $29.
