Got it for 18$ during this sale. Was sharpening my teeth for it for a long time. And no disappointment - absolutely love it. What it does on vocals is amazing. Glueing up drums as well. Will keep going with it. Great stuff.
Was thinking about buying klanghelm ssdr instead, but maybe in the future. Im fine with PA saturators for now. (vsm, karacter, Big al)

Yeah, ATM you can get it for 39 (ANY-3999) minus your monthly voucher.

My August voucher wasn't used but was marked as already used (strangely only AFTER going through the whole order process, though) when I tried to combo it with the 39.99 code as well. I emailed them to ask if I'd already used it, because I don't remember doing so, and they re-reset it for me again. If I were you I'd give customer support a chance before writing it off like others have said here, the worst that happens is they say no.

All the August vouchers are expired now, the extended/reset ones ended at the end of the 5th.

Yes they are, but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the August loyalty vouchers ($25/$50/$75), that were reset due to their mistake over the expiry dates - those expired on the 5th.thecontrolcentre wrote: Mon Sep 06, 2021 10:28 pm The ANY codes are still valid for another 8 hrs 31 minutes ...

In my case I got bit again: I waited until there was a decent sale. The day I bought Big Al for $40 during the current sale, a few hours later PA emailed that they were enabling the Aug voucher! I could have used that had I waited 3 hours later. I hate when that happens. I emailed them asking for consideration on this. Hopefully they do. I dont make money with music so every $ counts. It's no longer sufficent to just wait for the right sale - there are still all kinds of games and "dice rolling" in terms of getting the best price. Frustrating!

Well, uh, it sounds really nice IMO - I seem to get on well with Reimund's DSP in general and this is no exception. Pretty easy on my CPU so it has not been a problem to use it as a live vocal processor when tracking and I like it a lot in that role. Bass Compensator and Voltage Sag are great switches and I feel the EQ bands are well tuned also.
It's been a surprisingly versatile tool for me, good with a lot of different sources, but I am going to it a lot for vocals and synths especially. Its saturation character gets pretty gnarly as it distorts more, which with the right blend in the right context is neat but I prefer the sound and tonality of what it adds used less aggressively, great harmonic enhancement before it becomes audibly distorted to me

So Ill leave my opinion - after a few weeks of using. I totally love it. Probably abusing it a bit, but its great. When something is too digital sounding, too clear - its a first thing to go. When bass is lacking some grit, just drive it and mix it down a bit - great! When too muddy - it works again! One of the best from PA. Highly recomended.
High and low shelves works great as well, a long with emphasize switch.
Its a great sounding simple plugin. Easy to dial in.
