Let's flex our plugins.(The less is better or the opposite)?

Forget the plugin count, excessive KVR-ing is the real problem!

I have a pile of IK stuff, but I only use a handful of TrackS plugins, a bit of Amplitube, and Sampletank (which has the old Sampletron sounds) for the Strawberry Fields flute.
The other one I use the most is Scuffham Amps.
Ok, tallying up, I have too many. I've found what works for me, and they are only a handful. The rest I either write off (the ones that don't work on an M1 Mini) or upgrade, which, while nice, is unnecessary at this time.

Really, though, if I thought about it, Logic has some amazing instruments like Alchemy and Sculpture, and stock effects are better than avg., imo, the only one I feel I 'need' is Scuffham. And Melodyne.

dang, i wanted to reply to jan's post and had typed all the stuff below and the thread got locked before i finished.

it's often not my primary interest but instead secondary.

so, i think i should make it primary again.
i will quit scrabble for about a month.
quit kvr too till july.

I'm supposed to have done harm here by "lack of compassion", but the upshot may well be you taking the whole thing more seriously. I could have, once again, chosen to leave it well alone, but the same story for years? The question is not coercing you to post your music publicly, it's can you question whether you been efficient with this 'method' to the point of getting more music done than if you got in the piano roll with one nice bass instrument loaded, and just did the thing?

it isn't important that I'm kidded on this, the point is don't kid yourself.
I'm sorry for any additional color which may be perceived from this, I'm trying not to. The tactic was a kind of shaming, otherwise, for my part there's nothing to do but write it all off.
