DAWs sometimes do seem to have poorly chosen names.

I am not crazy about the name "Studio One"; the name shows up a lot all over the place, and happens to be the name of "the largest purpose-built recording studio in the world". Also, "Studio One" sounds awkward when you tack on the version number to the name.

Never was thrilled with the name change of "Cakewalk Pro Audio"; "Sonar" was too too overused of a word in audio software; it got changed back to "Cakewalk", anyway.

I also didn't like the name change of "Tracktion" to "Waveform", which is also too overused of a word in audio software.
