I don't idolize brands. Windows and macOS feel literally the same to me.

Like app launchers for software applications - most of which feel literally the same regardless of what platform you run them on (unless they're platform locked).

As for hacking an OS onto an unsupported system, I don't run those kinds of systems because I'm beyond self-support, at this point. Plus, I generally get rid of such systems as I do a ton of video editing and if something is out of support it's probably gotten to the point where it isn't meeting my needs, anyways.

But this topic wasn't really about "me," anyways.
