I am now back from my rig so would need to wait until tomorrow to go back there to test but will do it. So far on my pc speakers I would say no, it doesn't sound close but could be the audio examples they've used as not on every part of a tune you will hear the reverb clearly.

Sometime mr cupwise doesn't create the best respresentations with his audio samples so that may be the case. Looking forward to your feedback!mikehende wrote: Wed Aug 10, 2022 6:06 pm I am now back from my rig so would need to wait until tomorrow to go back there to test but will do it. Yes, I purposely left the feedback at an at least halfway conservative setting (going above 100 canof course cause a build-up...) and also keep in mind that I had nothing to go by other than that Youtube-video.mikehende wrote: Wed Aug 10, 2022 5:35 pm yes Valhalla is it and it was mainly adjust the "Feedback" button alone which gives the extra robotic tone with these exact settings

I'm glad it does the trick though after all.
It would be great if you could also try the Supermassive preset I posted earlier.

Yes, just saw its not free anymore and no Demo.
I have it and its a pretty good 'robotic' Verb, actually a Schroeder Reverberator.

Guys, I had the bud's laptop working perfectly with Reaper and the plugins, took it to my rig 2 hours ago and no audio coming out of the laptop. Spent the last couple hours very frustratingly trying over and over the same Reaper settings as my pc and still no audio from the reaper setup, laptop audio is fine with it's default sound card so I don't know what else to do here.
So I will try the test of the two plugins tomorrow on my pc and will get back to you. Sorry.

Ok guys, did the testing on my music pc.
The 2 audio samples are the same as the 303.
Regarding Valhalla, this is the setting which comes closest:

It's not a bad alternative but these plugins all are missing the pronounced robotic tone is all. Looks like I may have to risk getting the Roboverb since no demo and no response from its developer.

BTW guys, for clarity, is the Roboverb a "VST" plugin? It doesn't say on their site:

It might be fruitful to also try other modes... e.g. Cirrus Minor and Gemini.mikehende wrote: Fri Aug 12, 2022 2:42 pm Ok guys, did the testing on my music pc.

I can give it a try next time I go to my rig. I did some research on Robotic verbs and found these 2 [Soundtoys little alter boy and Eventide spring reverb] but I will try contacting Kushview to ask if that plugin is a VST, I feel that plugin will do it if it should be a VST.

Well not sure if these would be a fit, but since you are open to reverbs that are not direct emulations of the SR303, try DDMF and Hornet's reverbs... they aren't meant to be emulations but might have a sound close to your 303... maybe...
From the examples of the SR303 on youtube, I think the Audio Damage RatShack reverb is pretty close.

Little Alter Boy is not a reverb plugin at all or anything even just remotely similar to that... it's a vintage-style pitch-shifter basically.mikehende wrote: Fri Aug 12, 2022 9:08 pm I can give it a try next time I go to my rig. I never got the notifs from these last 2 posts guys, sorry. I only came back here now to give an update and seeing these 2 posts.
I purchased roboverb yesterday but seems that company might no longer be active so PayPal is giving me a refund.
Hornet's reverb seems to be close enough but with the demo of Springverb 1.0.2 when I click the Install button a windows showing "Choose install options" and I click the OK button the window closes then nothing at all happens. I tried this 3 times same deal. I have emailed it's developers so waiting on their response.

Ok guys, Hornet's is not bad but I got the download of Roboverb and it works!! I tried it out on my rig and is identical to the 303 so you hit the nail on the head!El°HYM wrote: Wed Aug 10, 2022 2:54 pm Dont know the original hardware, yet it also kind of reminds me a little bit of this one.
