The sound demo on page 1 is awesome. A plugin chorus that actually sounds like a real chorus, hallelujah! Is there an installer for this? I recall installation for little one being kinda painful.

But. All plugins are "Buyer beware". In fact, the whole saying comes for the idea that buyers should aways beware. So there would be no need for Xhun, or anyone, to state it.

Ehhh... People are expecting it will support their Mac when the product page claims Mac support.
So it's only right that it should say "just kidding" somewhere.

True, but not every plugin developer both offers Mac compatibility and publicly oozes animosity about it. If you don’t want to support it, then don’t. But having no installers, having to select a single gui resolution when copying over the component file, gatekeeper workarounds, and preset placement just to get them to work (even though they already show up in the browser, but somehow don’t work….) It’s just really sloppy and frankly feels like it’s being held together with duct tape. Other small devs manage to do it (Voxengo, klanghelm, TAL, Valhalla, PSP, audio damage, audio thing, Sonic Charge, Sinevibes, Psychic Modulation, Fuse Audio Labs, Madrona Labs, Kazrog, physical audio...). What are they doing that’s drastically different? Are they all suckers for paying and supporting apple?plexuss wrote: Sat Sep 24, 2022 4:43 am But. All plugins are "Buyer beware". It’s a shame because your plugins sound very good.

Totally agree the plugins are good ‘little one’ sounds and is great, but the flaky Mac support once rosetta2 ends is a switch off. So no more buys from me.
Should at least be upfront with prospective buyers regarding the non Apple Silicon Mac support in the future.

Ok, in order to make it more clear to the website visitors and avoid any misconceptions, in the Shop section (and the Download section too, in a few hours) I added a disclaimer "Intel CPU", since it is the only natively supported ISA at now :
https://www.xhun-audio.com/site/xhun.php?page=shop
Said that, my posts were only to state that supporting a new "plugin format" or "CPU" or "OS" or ... (etc.) does require a complete IDE in many cases and that cannot be accomplished in a fingers' snap.
It is a long and delicate procedure and it requires the time it deserves. I also said that today, in 2022, a different form of platform-unrelated "plugin format" is really needed. It is something I strongly belive in - and if I have to rewrite from the ground up all the code in my products, I woud like to rewrite that once (and never again) into that really high-end, long term format.
This is why, instead of jumping on the "very-last-feature" wagon (blind support for latest macOS, M1 or M2, NKS, CLAP, etc.) every time some new "feature" is presented, I prefer to wait and seriously consider that other different "platform-unrelated" approach because I think it's the way to the future in the pro audio world.
If I'm wrong and if that approach will not "work fine" for some reason, I'll be happy to continue to deploy pre-compiled binaries for plugins like I'm already doing today.

Hi everybody,
ModFlorus has just been updated to version 1.2.0, introducing an easy to use (single-knob) embedded multimode analogue filter.

While maintaining its compact and minimal look, ModFlorus wet signal can now be sculpted further using the newly introduced TONE knob. The GUI has been slightly modified too in order to accomodate the new controls.
New / Updated Controls :
TONE [LP...HP] : Set the analogue filter type and cutoff frequency.
ST [MIN...MAX] : Set the saturation circuit load amount.
ModFlorus ver 1.2.0 update is free of charge for existing Customers. It is also available with a 50% discount (19.90 Euro) with the current Back To School 2023 promo.
