Nowt wrong drinking it neat. In truth, I prefer it that way. Sometimes a titch of distilled water fits nicely, helps accentuate some of the subtler aromas. Try it with some of the stronger bourbons, just lovely.

The spoons are notched to sit on the lip of the glass. It has several holes in it to allow the carmelized sugar to flow through. What you do is this:

Fill half the amount you're gonna drink. Place a couple of sugar cubes on the spoon & pour the rest over it. Light the sugar, & let it burn till it begins to melt. Take the spoon & stir it into the absinth, so yeah, the drink will burn for a few seconds.

Toss it down.

Repeat.

Repeat.

After a few rounds of that, slice off an ear, or brutally murder a fellow artisan..

Be happy.

Die young.
