Years of uncontrolled buying have all blended together for me. I know I bought EastWest Opus on a good sale - I can't use the Engine though, it lags behind the rest of my devices in the timing department - but it still has a very handy Divisi function and superb samples. I passed on The Score, the Engine is mostly based on basic Kontakt scripts that are always available (nonetheless the free version is still fun!). Sample Logic Synth AI. Broadway Lites. Triaz. Multiple MIDI apparati - Stepic, Spiral, ummmm.....

Invader 2. Great synth!
FL Studio 25 | AudioThing JULY - Deimos - U-he Filterscape - NI Kontour - Softube Model 80 - LUSH-2 - UAD Opal - WaveOSC

The last software I bought is Korg Collection 5 update. It was because of ARP 2600 of course which might be the best analog emulation I have! Not sure if it emulates the hardware 100%, but what is there, is really great and deep. It is certainly not an easy synth!

Using: Cubase Pro 15, Bitwig 5, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

I've bought very little this year, the least I've bought for as long as I can remember. For synths I bought TAL-Pha, Model 80 and the Gforce DMX. The effects I bought were Recirculate (which I've hardly used), Aberrant DSP's Lair and the UAD Ampex. My collection just reached a state of diminishing returns, and now something has to be unique or a better version of something I already own for me to consider buying it, whereas before it was "I like this so I'll buy it".

It is rather high. But it didn't exceed 50% on my CPU for example, so it is OK for me. My cpu is AMD Ryzen 5800X and on my M1 miniMac is similar (little bit less). This is compared with Bazille on my PC:

You are welcome 😊
I think you should demo it first. It has 4x sampling by default so, you might able to run it at lower quality (although, I don't think it worth it if you don't run it at highest quality).

I purchased a license for Invader 2 from E phonic. Really nice sounding bread n butter synth.........as if I needed more. It is a cut above most though.
We jumped the fence because it was a fence not be cause the grass was greener.

I got the Korg collection 5 because of the sale and I spend a great deal of time in Triton world. It’s crazy how inspirational these sounds are 20+ years later. I know I recall the days I couldn’t afford a triton as a college student but now it’s at my call with all the expansion cards and desk space for my hardware sequencers (hapax, cirklon). I will literally load up so many tracks in ableton with it with each instrument doing its own task. If you do light EQ or saturation for the output it’s definitely ready to go for most modern music tasks.

Multipass second hand on a heavy discount. I'm quite happy with it.
