Vertically Aligned EQ plugins?

My vertical prefences apparently don't translate to compressors
and my varimu cabinet is full. Combed through the remaining Sonimus catalog but none of their other plugins really spoke to me. The modular EQs seem overly complicated for my taste. I did download SonEQ Free but I wouldn't choose it over any of the other Pultec-like plugins in my kit.

Found some time to compare Pultec emulations. Lindell PEX-500 is vertically aligned, but I find it cluttered & really wish it would lose the textured backdrop and could be resized. The "Analog" button is not trustworthy. More than once it sent a shocking burst of noise when enabled. I got it free when Dirk was preparing PA for sale and goosing the numbers with crazy discounts. Goes on the shelf at least until they update.
I will pick up the vertical Nomad Factory AS PulseEq. I could get the curves to match the EQP-1A portion of the Pulse-Tec v2 of NF pretty closely, so I suspect the DSP might be the same in them. Pretty good Pultec, maybe not the best but solid. The slightly more expensive NF BlueTubes PEQ2B may not be the same DSP, and I very much disliked the Q in the low-end on that.
Not vertically aligned, but for low end, Sonimus SonEQ Free, to me, had the best bottom end of all the Pultec-like plugins I tested. Kind of clunky, needs a refresh, but free and I'll overlook all the rest for that big bottom. Seems as if they'll update it eventually. SonEQ Pro I did not much like, also in need of a refresh. Didn't demo SonEQ 2, but I might just to see if I can load it up with 16 low modules and do something unexpected.
Plugivery seems to claim the Analog Studio rack was Bernie Torelli's last great work. The module I tested was solid, even before a refresh. I trust they will eventually, maybe 2025, get it updated and modern. Could be this blow-out sale on Nomad Factory right now is a means of generating some cashflow to fund updating the remaining catalog. Not so interested in the entire Analog Studio Rack, but after my experience with the PulseEq, I'll demo the State EQ and the Bus Comp.
Solid vertically aligned EQs at under $6 each right now.

Not technically, it is vertically aligned. I see you didn't read more than the last post, since I only mentioned Fairuz many times in this thread, and in fact was the inspiration for the line of questioning.Erik_Lucas wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2024 4:19 pmFairuz is technically vertically aligned tooP900 wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2024 1:58 pm We also have P450 MDN EQ in vertical orientation.
