Just a reminder that this stuff is all 2 for 1 really as it works in PP and Snapheat/Multipass. KH as a developer are right up there with UHE for me.
Are you sure it wasn't only £11.00 (+ 20% VAT = £13.20?).,.
Which is what I paid, as a fellow Kilohearts Ultimate customer.

But yes I completely agree, it definitely pays to upgrade to the Ultimate bundle. Each new Kilohearts plugin is heavily discounted for existing Kilohearts Ultimate customers and all of their plugins are extremely useful, in either standalone or in combination with each other, especially within their effect 'snapin' hosts: Phase Plant, Snap Heap, Multipass.

Kilohearts Toolkit ULTIMATE (as it was previously known when I bought it years ago) has proven to be one of the best value purchases ever. If anyone is on the fence considering jumping aboard the Kilohearts eco system, I would 100% definitely recommend it.

Just double checked, My bill was £11.83 total (I don't pay VAT); maybe exchange rate fluctuations? Either way, great deal, happy customer...

Yeah it runs on plugdata, but that works perfectly and easily.
It deserves a try, it's a really nice plugin/filter table alternative.

I was happy to bung KHS some Euros too, I upgraded my Ultimate license to add Shaper and Filter Table, ~£27 together (VAT inclusive)

Is this particular process unique to PP?

If you mean the Filter Table plugin, then it is available as both a standalone VST3 effect plugin and also as a "Snapin" effect within Phase Plant.

If you want to use it in combination with other synths, samplers, etc., you can use the standalone effect version (you get both when you purchase it, and they both are included in the same installer).

Some filter plugins have a 'morphing' knob which can provide a somewhat similar (though typically more linear) functionality. Not sure I've ever seen a table-based implementation of a filter though.

It's kind of nice, because you can actually see the specific movement that a filter can evolve through.

Thanks for the info, oh I thought this process was tied directly to the wavetable, guess not.

VSL Strings processed by Kilohearts FilterTable inside SnapHeap using the wavetable of spoken word/my own voice (“I remember only the grandiose moment“ - from a piece by Arnold Schönberg).

Well because in essence, it is a vocoder.
Likewise when you feed strange stuffs like a drum loop in a vocoder you get some effects very close to what you can get with this filter.
