UA native plugins can now be used offline

Did you actually try activating it?
My duplicate inactive licenses showed dongle or Cloud as the available options until I actually click on them and clicked “Activate.” Only then did I get the option to activate on my local machine. The available activation icons and the number of activations changed after activating.

Remember, you can always deactivate it afterwards.

Some interesting comments here from a UA forum admin and a UA company rep, both pointing out that the idea Neve will not be ported is just a rumor, and that there was a similar rumor about SSL, which was obv false. The company rep also points out that UA fully owns the Neve algorithms, meaning they could always be released as new plugins without Neve branding.

Edit: Just noticed you got it working, but this is how you'd do it without activating..
Go into the iLok Manager (Not the UA software). Sign into your account. Go to Licenses / Refresh subscriptions and select it. It'll tell you that you don't have any subscriptions, but you don't care about this. What you care about is it's triggered an online event to check the licenses, and (provided the license is not activated anywhere else) this should also be enough for it to update the UA license. (It's handy if you have a group of things and don't necessarily want to activate everything )

That didn't work for me. I have perpetual licenses for Top Line Vocal Suite, Pure Plate Reverb, and Sound City Studios, and those still require an online connection. I'm pretty sure I also had a perpetual license for PolyMax as well but I'll have to check. I did get a free one year spark subscription with the Guitar amp deal they had, so I wonder if that is part of the issue. Maybe Doge has half-assed cut waste from UAD's licensing team.

Do you still get advertisements about a demo plugin you haven't purchased when you turn your interface on? 'Cause that would be cool if it was, you know, gone from my life.

I unsubscribed from the torrent of UA adverts from my email and life has been sweet, email-wise.
