Oh! and freeze.
now that i enjoy the freeze option in Sonar4 i must say i'd really like to see this option implemented in FLS.

A few things, which I didn't see on this list, that I think would make the next FL Studio into the perfect program:
1. Changeable skins - not just the wallpaper but the appearance of the top bar and windows - I'd like to be able to set it to suit the creative mood I'm in, or just to something a little less heavy and dark.
2. Potential for time Signature changes and tempo changes within a song. (can this be done already? I haven't been able to figure out how yet except via roundabout hard ways). -edit: also to be able to do things like triplets and hemidemisemi quavers in the step sequencer
-
3. More complex arrangement ability in the playlist - it allows you to put a return point where when the song reaches it's end it returns to - I'd like to be able to indicate a section be repeated four times, and put in things like a Coda etc.
4. Score transcriptions (with guitar and bass tabs where appropriate) produced from what you've laid down using the step sequencer and piano roll (this is just a pipe dream of mine).
That said I love this program - it's completely able to do 95% of the things I want it to do and to do so a lot easier (and for a lot cheaper) than Cubase and Sonar. I don't get the people who think this program is a crap toy - I think they're living in the long long distant past.

and never forget that it's the age when we play with toys when our intelligence grows more quickly.
and it seems that the skin has changed to a brighter metal one, is it true?

No, it's just the new plugins that get this skin. Someone has put together a custom skin, though, which builds on the appearance of those apps. It's posted in the FLS looptalk.origami wrote:and it seems that the skin has changed to a brighter metal one, is it true?

maybe because complaining is not the good solution... anyway, i read somewhere on KvR that freeze might be implemented. as far as i can remember, gol said he was contemplating the idea of a freeze script.Jaeson Merrill wrote:go complain about it on their forums then.. i tried and tried.. and just got egg on my face. hehe.Wopelka wrote:Oh! and freeze.
