I have a copy of that any clue what the google search would be on that.. saw something with a melda delay that I could get a note into vcv rack then send it to the melda delay. the melda delay has some sequencer in it where the delay could run irregular because of the freeze. sending a trigger to the drum.. I haven't tried this yet either..yhvh wrote: Fri Feb 27, 2026 9:50 amDexter US wrote: Thu Feb 26, 2026 2:02 am what I would like to see if a plugin that loads a single shot plugin and then changes the number of hits and increases the clock speed. maybe it could load in the drum kit plugins also. My attempts so far are intresting but seeminly random in vcv. I know that can all be done with various sequencers but it does seem like it would be a popular app. I really love what can be done with vcv rack for sure..

Looking at plugdata and synthedit and I am thinking it is going to be much easier to put together fm drum kits then it has been.. I saw a video saying that plugdata is going to get graphics with their compiled vsts.

I will look for to see if I can figure out how to do that in bitwig... I saw a video with a melda delay ... think I can load the delay in vcv rack and then send a note to the delay and the delay if it is on freeze mode will stutter sending the signal as the trigger for the delay..yhvh wrote: Fri Feb 27, 2026 9:50 amDexter US wrote: Thu Feb 26, 2026 2:02 am what I would like to see if a plugin that loads a single shot plugin and then changes the number of hits and increases the clock speed. maybe it could load in the drum kit plugins also. There are a lot of very capable synths/drum synths around these days, but I gave up on those a long time ago. Not because they are not capable, just because I have a billion gigs of samples and it's more convenient
I still quite often mess around making perc sounds on both vst and hardware synths, and might sample stuff I find interesting, but I don't use the synths when writing.

I'll add MDrummer, which includes synthesized, "scratching", "electronic", and sampled acoustic drums in its repertoire, with oodles of effects and other modulations available per individual drum. It's extremely powerful, and it sounds great.
While response to the new Groove Agent 6 seems muted, I'm noticing that it now allows for adding effects to each instrument in an electronic drum kit--something not do-able before, and that's in addition to individualized effects for acoustic kits. I already really like what I hear when using the old Groove Agent 5, and I look forward to a summer sale to upgrade.

I did a bit of research, and you can tap on the piano roll and divide it up and even cooler you can shift the piano roll a little bit.. Not sure they will update me to the next version but being able to curve that so it is uneven with the splits would be coolyhvh wrote: Fri Feb 27, 2026 9:50 amDexter US wrote: Thu Feb 26, 2026 2:02 am what I would like to see if a plugin that loads a single shot plugin and then changes the number of hits and increases the clock speed. maybe it could load in the drum kit plugins also. i know you’re looking to trigger stuff so im not sure if this will help, but if you’re not opposed to a tap delay, noise engineering’s imitor has the option of warping the timing of the taps in either direction along with lfos that you can do the same thing do if you really want weird timing. it will give you up to 32 taps and you can modulate the number of taps. you also can manually disable taps so if you set to say 10 taps, you can then go in and shut off #3 and 8 if you specifically don’t want those two to play. so if you just triggered your source once and ran imitor on it, maybe that would accomplish what you’re going for in its own way? i may be totally misunderstanding what you’re after though so if i am, i apologize. it’s a pretty handy delay nonetheless. i only made the switch to bitwig a couple months ago so im probably not the best source of help there, but if nothing else could you just build something along the lines of what you had in vcv in the grid? then just save it as a device and use it whenever you want.Dexter US wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 6:46 amI did a bit of research, and you can tap on the piano roll and divide it up and even cooler you can shift the piano roll a little bit.. What is missing for me from any plugin and that only one, afaik, has provided is a single voice instance: drummax
Why? Because it would be way more convenient for handling a mix of different drum synths and samples in Ableton Live Drum rack.

I’ve always hoped for more output bussing (like C, D etc) in addition to the already implemented A and B.

it’s unquestionably my favorite delay plugin. noise engineering is such a great developer. it sounds strange to say this about a delay but i recommend checking out the presets if you demo/buy it just to get a feel for what all it can do. it’s so much more than a traditional tap delay.Dexter US wrote: Sun Mar 01, 2026 12:19 pmTap delays that I can warp are great... thanksyhvh wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 2:12 pmi know you’re looking to trigger stuff so im not sure if this will help, but if you’re not opposed to a tap delay, noise engineering’s imitor has the option of warping the timing of the taps in either direction along with lfos that you can do the same thing do if you really want weird timing. it will give you up to 32 taps and you can modulate the number of taps. you also can manually disable taps so if you set to say 10 taps, you can then go in and shut off #3 and 8 if you specifically don’t want those two to play. so if you just triggered your source once and ran imitor on it, maybe that would accomplish what you’re going for in its own way? i may be totally misunderstanding what you’re after though so if i am, i apologize. it’s a pretty handy delay nonetheless. i only made the switch to bitwig a couple months ago so im probably not the best source of help there, but if nothing else could you just build something along the lines of what you had in vcv in the grid? then just save it as a device and use it whenever you want.Dexter US wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 6:46 amI did a bit of research, and you can tap on the piano roll and divide it up and even cooler you can shift the piano roll a little bit.. Yes, I know. What I'm asking for is not the same thing. It is the ability to pass any pad to one of 4 stereo outputs...by adding a C & D set. Microtonic currently has two stereo busses: A & B. I'd like two more...C & D.ere2learn wrote: Sun Mar 01, 2026 12:36 pmIt has a multi out version now with 8 channelsWeasel-Boy wrote: Tue Feb 24, 2026 3:41 am
