I mean nudging the left side of a part to the right or the right side of a part to the left to make it smaller or nudging the left side of a part top the left or the right side of a part to the right to make in longer...

If I got this correctly, the term should perhaps be "resize" from both ends of an audio part. Perhaps also a second option to "resize" with a modifier key to make the steps very small and precise.
Nudging is when you move a object in tiny steps (per sample, or in midi-ticks) either forward or backward in the timeline one step at a time.

all this talk about loop recording, reminded me of that annoying bug in the VST version of XT that makes it impossible to record audio while looping, since the recording is always placed at the beginning of the loop, regardless of the actual time you hit record.
I've tried this in Buzz, Ableton Live and Cubase - same result. I hit record in the middle of the loop, and the new audio part is placed at the beginning.
I already posted this several times, but PLEASE FIX THIS in v. 1.3 PLEASE, it's been around for months now, time to get rid of it.
oh, and I agree to what most of all the other people wrote about audio editing exept the idea of routing different parts in the same track to a seperate output - that's just confusing.
And I'm so happy the audio sequencer is drawing attention to itself.
