Yeah, starting with the Tube Gain all the way down gives much better results, when noodling around. You really have to learn where it's extremes are and dial everything in carefully. I like it much more, now. And the presets do it no justice IMO. Many presets have the Tube Gain dial over 12 o'clock. But the interface is so great, it's made for building your own patches.nusound mind wrote: Mon Jun 29, 2026 3:45 amInteresting, ime once the sweet spot is found they're among the best sounding fx I have in plugin form. Esp. Obvious Filter 2 and Influx Pro, although it's takes tweaking to find those goldie locks zone margins. I'm currently building a stable of my own presets.dieterlaser wrote: Sun Jun 28, 2026 11:41 pm Hmm, I tried FKFX Influx Pro. Great interface, but I'm not totally convinced by the sound, yet. Have to try some more. Definitely good for Schranz, though
Noisebleach otoh is a great gate that's quick to set up and I can mix with thanks to zero delay comp. option and it's replaced sonnox drum gate plugin so far at least once
Their gui's occasionally freeze my sessions for a few seconds if I'm tweaking on the fly while the track is playing, so that'd be my main critique atm, although thankfully they don't cause crashing thus far.
Sorry to hear you are having freezes. I have no problems so far on a M5 Macbook with latest OS
