Gullfo, what's that reel-to-reel there?

who is fond of brushed aluminum front panels
[edit] And have you ever considered hooking up that Singer's treadle to a MIDI sensor, for use as an organ-style "expression" pedal? :-) Now THAT would be serious retro!

the reel-to-reel is a 1962 Sony stereo 1/4" tape. The guitar is a 1968 Epiphone that I customized slightly with a humbucking coil and it sounds beautiful! A good friend of mine's daughter has it now since she expressed interest in playing and it works for her. I currently use my Fender strat - not pictured.

Well, it's kinda done.vtx wrote:Looks like its still a work in progress tetraplan,,I can't wait to see the finished floor plan![]()
So far so good
If I wanted to really finish it I would export seperate *.wavs and mix them in Sonar.

OK, sorry for the lousy quality of the pic, the cam is really getting dated now (something wrong with the lens fixation too), but here's my home workspace:

Nothing special at all, SY85 as the master keyboard, Edirol PCR30A for knobs and occasional audio, EMI 2|6 is hidden in the desktop caddy (behind the mixer).
PC left of the desktop is the music one, the other is my net machine, both share the right monitor. That's also why I have two mice and keyboards there.
Had to use the flash, usually I don't stand such light, so in reality you wouldn't see all the mess.
On the right monitor speaker you can see my secret weapons for making a lot of grooves live up a bit, a potato and pineapple style shaker.
Mic is a Rode NT3.
Oh, and I'm sorry for the shape of my plants, there's been some sorta bazillus, and unlike with PCS I didn't have an antivirus program for them.
More over on the left there's a bunch of further guitars, hanging in some wall mounts.

Yeah, like it a lot. I also have a POD and a GT-5, both gathering dust now.Beardedone wrote:Hey Sascha! I see you have a V-Amp too. Cool!
Well, actually I do use the GT-5 for the occasional commercial job, when no amps are allowed.
