god I could of written that....tht's how I got FL and vsampler...frome cakewalk home studio xl or whatever...I never use the cakewalk. Last month I took it out of pc...I bought Ce2k, when they offered up AA 1.0 for 99 bux when adobe aquired sinrtyllium I was on it the first day it was out...upgraded to 1.5 and I am so happy with the combo of the two. Well 4 when you add in vsampler3 and B4...though fpc is really cool 16 pads are not enough for me. I liked FL so much after climbing the ladder (express, studio edition, producer edition) I bought FL for my son last xmas....TonyVanDam wrote:FL Express was the first FLS-related software that I ever own. It was part of the Cakewalk Home Studio package.
I would later move up to FL 3.5 and never look back. In fact, by the timing of the release of FLS 4, I just discontinue using Home Studio all together and just use FLS for all of my sequencing needs & use Audition 1.5 for recording vocals when needed.
And now that I have Live 4, FLS 5 will be even more useful for some serious remixing fun!!!
do you own FL

Bought Producer Edition during the early 4.x era. Didn't like the demo's of the other "competitors" too much at the time..... I think I made a great choice. FL 5 keeps up the great updates/support. Just can't see using much else, at this point

I own it, I use it (it's the only host I need), I love it.
I don't particularly like the registration process (I'd mind the hassle less if it actually *did* manage to stop warez kiddies), but I do love their software.

true but I have no desire to know what little puke software pirates have to say...in fact the only two words I can think of wanting to hear from pirates are "good bye"GoaFruity wrote:even a pirated FL could be seen as owned.![]()
