nice! i agree, definitely looks more pro. everything still looks really similar to the default skin.. just,.,better. looks like it would be easy to modify for different color schemes too.

Well actually it's impossible to make a complete skin as it's not supported anymore 
I don't think Gol with make it possible "just" for this minimalist one, seems like he don't really agree with the concept. (I can understand, I have removed half of his work by doing this "lame" version ... )
I have tried to explain my point of view (see The ´´gold´´ skin on IL forum). The only "positive" point is that the actual skin will probably move to something more flat (that's what jmc said, for the 5.01).
I can't really do more. (And I don't want to make and half working skin, it doesn't make sence)

I like the 2d look quite abit. I also dont like the toolbars in the current FL version, since its impossible to make them fill up 1 or 2 levels completely and you are left with that diagonally striped area on the tool bar. Paq and superddman- you have made some nice alternatives.
I can see gols point of view though- if you have a bunch of "ghetto" looking skins it only leads to the impression of FL as being a "unprofessional toy"
I would still like to see some new options with different color schemes(FPC colors) and I would like to see PaQs skin implemented...

I updated my FL Studio 5 "Clean" skin. It now includes changes to more elements.
