i gotta go now, so putting all the pieces together, this whole vector of mine isn't some shit i pulled out my ass the other day to post on the web, it's my life's work.. i'm not a musician or an employee or a friend or a lover, i'm a f**king newsflash for the human race. now y'all people can do what the f**k you want, but if you have kids or want the people in the future to not live in total shit, you might want to remember
the earth is finite.
okay?
centralised referentialism is the extremely f**king dangerous mechanic. when the center moves, the whole thing moves. blam! it takes summed power to make a tyrant.
think: decentralise reference, authority.. take some and put it in you, or something not on the television. hey.. it might be even cool.
is that so f**king hard to understand?? is top 40 really so f**king good???

i don't know! i'd have to listen to it to find out! that's what I'm saying!
does "being in the top 40" make a piece of music an untouchable piece of shit?
ok, maybe i shouldn't ask that...

BTW, top 40 sucks, true... but NIN is hardly your typical top 40 act. Although he had a few that made it.. i think theres some generalization here, just cause someone made it big means they are talentless?? well that is the other extreme isnt it.. almost sounds like jealousy to me.
of course the extreme would be thinking that just cause theyre top 40 then we should be foaming at the mouths wondering what they used...

Jeeezus... you're just all over this board today, full of piss and vinegar. Don't you have access to any chill pills, or some weed or some such?xoxos wrote:well, ahja.. it seems like there's a lot of people who are interested in making sure that people are more interested in what their icons are doing than in what they're doing. makes for a good ol' fashioned malleable society. that's all.ahja wrote:I suppose a lot of people are interested in how he achieves his sounds. ffs
As for the "idol worship" angle, it was ever thus, and will be unto the foreseeable future. It is so NOT worth getting your knickers in a twist about that I wonder why you even bother posting. Lonely?
It probably never occurred that most people start out learning a craft (ANY craft) by imitating their mentors. It used to be called apprenticeship. Most of them never have the time or the inclination to even become as good as the ones they emulate, and that's just fine with everyone, 'cept you.
A certain few, with more brains, talent, or drive than the rest (but mostly drive) will soon realize that they are not happy being imitative. And those people will strike out on the road you are endorsing... the quest for some originality. But they will be in the tiny, tiny minority.
So effing what???

If the earth is infinite .. let people listen, think, and do what they want without your superior holier than thou attitude.xoxos wrote:i gotta go now, so putting all the pieces together, this whole vector of mine isn't some shit i pulled out my ass the other day to post on the web, it's my life's work.. i'm not a musician or an employee or a friend or a lover, i'm a f**king newsflash for the human race. now y'all people can do what the f**k you want, but if you have kids or want the people in the future to not live in total shit, you might want to remember
