Robbie Williams wrote:HA! I'm great, you all suck!

Actually That's not strictly true, I use the vurtbox on every record I do... so you all suck except vurt! :o

Want to remix my next single, vurt? I know times are hard after you turned down the position of sixth member of Take That...

:hihi:

Yes.

Oh Yes.

:hihi:
Well, if you're using Vurtbox, I have to reconsider. :D :D

Hehe, that's funny, and somewhat true. Robbie is still a total c**t though.

If you combine both of these, that's exactly my point.

But to defuse things just let me say that I woke up this morning with an overpowering urge to shag RW and buy all his albums. Hallelujah.
:o Me too!

I think as a plain old straight-up pop geezer he's on top of his game (or was a couple years back anyway) but the swing stuff i saw and heard was f**king shite!!

He doesn't have 1% of whatever it was the original crooners had. The audience for this crap probably never heard the originals so they don't know any better.

I think he made the biggest mistake of his life parting company with that guy chambers bloke, given that he was the talented one, and the one who wrote all his best tracks.

His stuff since then has been pretty dire. that track called "radio" i think, i heard that and just thought he was scraping the barrel.

Too true. IMO Guy Chambers is a gifted songwriter.

LOOOL that says it all, you're talking to a small community and you can't post anything without bitter, and you're talking about a guy who gets hassled to answer to thousand of questions (even though he's not in the mood at this choosen time) . Man, good that you're on iuma, or some folks would post here about your attitude.

Mister 'THE ONE', your thoughts made your music ugly... good luck

Over and out.
Hmm, let's see, personal attacks, incomprehensible writing [does anyone get what this guy means?] AND to top it all off starts post with a huge LOL and ends it with 'over and out'. And i'm still taking this bullshit. :hihi:

Now, look here fella :P my original post was QUITE CLEAR I think. I just don't like his music OR his attitude. What the hell is your problem?? Is he your brother or something? Amazing.

As for the 'bitterness' in my post, all I can say is: :o :o Irony, sarcasm, maybe. Bitterness? Here's you again using the trollesque 'argument' of jealousy.

Oh well, over and out I guess.
dunno, mate, dunno :?
Oh come on jens, just read my original post and how this guy distorted it beyond reality just to have a go at me. Go on, just do it. That's why I got a bit out of line. But that's over now. :D

The thing about RW is that he's not afraid to make a cock out of himself. He does what he wants to. I remember when Millennium came out; in the video he was trying to do a smarmy one-side-of-the-face smile, but it looked more like he'd had a stroke. He can't dance. He was the only one in Take That who couldn't dance, so the videos would have to be edited carefully to hide this fact. But he doesn't give a shit, he just wants to be in the public eye, and to both 'entertain' and to have adoring fans and all that shite.

I don't think anyone is questioning his ability to act like a total prick :hihi:

In that respect he's a master of his art!

@Tristezza:

yeah, I read your original post and I think the problem is that if you somewhat like Robbie Williams it's a bit hard to read it without feeling personally offended about being called to like 'the most irritating prick ever' :?

Don't make the mistake of caring what other people think, you like what you like and thats fine!

No need to be offended by other peoples diffrent taste in music.

Right, I wrote this big reply that the server decided to eat, but it all boils down to this: I was irritated by his vocal performance in the film. That's it. It was my mistake to call him a prick just for that and for this I'm really sorry. It's his vocals I don't like - I don't mind about his personal life, I don't even watch TV [only DVD's :D :D ].

Post

then it all comes down to being just a matter of taste :-D

TonyVanDam quoth Isn't it amazing when a recording artist like Robbie show up out of nowhere that almost everyone (except for me) in this thread just get so scared like a bunch of bitches!!!

No, because you're talking bollocks.

Isn't it amazing, though, that in threads like this, you always show up and talk complete shite?

When I heard that Robbie was going solo after Take That I thought "Oh no - the ugly one is going to keep singing!"

But I have eaten my words.

I find the man intoxicatingly sexy, a great entertainer and I actually find him a great pop vocalist - particularly live.

He has sung a large number of songs that I'm happy to have in my collection including Angels, Millenium, Rock DJ, Come Undone and more.

I haven't heard him sing big band. However, I have heard that he did it really well which is in total contrast to what most people here are saying. Go figure. I guess I'll just make up my own mind.

I haven't liked all of his songs that I've heard but I did really like a very large percentage which I haven't been able to say about another pop artist for a while.

And I really like his attitude (or at least the attitude he cares to advertise in various interviews).

Anyway - that's me.
