I didn't mind the lyrics of either song actually.

They were both interesting at least in parts.
Ok - "f**k Me" was a little over the top - but I don't mind extreme concepts in songs. I've certainly used similar concepts in poetry before.

I don't know what these songs sound like though. I could absolutely hate them.

Happiness is the hidden behind the obvious.

Interesting that his music has gotten worse the more he started integrating soft synths.....

""The only good thing he did was the album pretty hate machine, it was fresh but now the scene is over. Teen angst dosnt last long.""

Teen angst lasts if you write good songs to begin with. See The Wall by Pink Floyd. Of course, Teen Angst was the focus of only one "brick". the rest of the album was much deeper.

That said, I like the Downard Spiral alot. I think it's Trent's best work. I'd like to see him spread his wings a bit and try some more mellow stuff.

The vocals actually irritate me more than the lyrics do. It's this low voice and he over expresses everything, almost gives it a "hawking a loogie" effect, well maybe not but I don't really know how to describe it.
