I think he's busy making music and going to school. But, he's been wanting to come out to NAMM and help SR for years. He's a really nice guy and he loves our products. I think he's got almost every one. Jeez is also coming out to NAMM as well. These guys are really into our stuff and want to be around the action. Both of them have helped us out a lot without even having anything to do with working for us at all- just because they like our products. Jeez may come work for us because he is really great answering questions on the forum. (Just have to get him from down under to up over) Mr. Tunes would work with us for the Summer in between school but he's doing some composing gigs in Canada (and probably has a girlfriend... hence his absence from KVRCaleb wrote:Mr Tunes - where Mr Tunes?Squids wrote:Hey, Mr. Tunes and Jeez are coming to the show to help out on the gig.
He's a kick-arse composer and musician. I haven't heard any music from him in over a year. Tell me what you know Squids and don't hold out on me.![]()

We are looking to hire a new sound programmer though to work in our office in Sunrise if anyone is interested. They would have to work here. A good ear for tuning and mapping is a must as well as a broad knowledge of instruments and familiarity with sample editors. One of our guys just got hired by a studio and he's only one day a week now so we need someone to replace the other 4 days.

Doors open at 6:30 , we start at 7:30 (but I want to start a little earlier than that actually so we don't run out of time... too many musicians on stage for one gig! Too many egos I mean.progfusion74 wrote:I am not missing this one .. what time does it start?

Yeah well if you're catching up with the Tunesmith anyway, let him know that it would be nice if he dropped a bit of his musicianship into the Music Café every once in a while. Some people (like me) would like to hear it.Squids wrote: I think he's busy making music and going to school. But, he's been wanting to come out to NAMM and help SR for years. I remember clearly that he had a strong love of Sonic Synth 1 and ST1 add-ons from SR - they featured heavily in every tune he put together.
He doesn't have to chat much - just throw us a few pearls every once in a while.

hi caleb and squids(and everyone else!)
i see there are questions about me in this thread and i just want to clarify some things. Firstly, as my life has been changing over the past few years i have experienced some difficulties in coming out to the forum everyday like i used to. i have not been happy about this and it is part of my new year's resolution to change this. kvr has grown so much in the time i have been gone so i feel like it's hard to come back and make myself known frequently. also i've had some login issues that made me give up on posting a lot. this will all change!!
so yeah i am coming to namm this week and im really excited to support my favorite company. this is my way of giving something back to the people that helped spring me into high quality production sound. i am very close with rob and im upset that he wont be there this year.
a brief update on what im up to these days: i take the Sound Design for Visual Media course at the Vancouver Film School. i'm only here for one year and then i will be looking for jobs. i have also been composing for advertisements for a firm in toronto, as well as doing a ton of short films here in vancouver. im having so much fun with this stuff and i use Sonic Synth and the SR Refills everyday!!!!
if you are an old friend from kvr or you want to meet me this week send me an email to mrtunes@gmail.com and let's try to organize a way to meet up. i will post some of my newest music soon. i love you all.

Yay@Mr Tunes.
Unfortunately I'm way over in Australia and won't be making it for NAMM. However, I'll just have to look forward to further tunes instead.
If only you guys all flew over to Melbourne then I could be part of the fun too.
