The code checks and handles denormal state - do you have a high quality sound card on the input ?

Is so fat good or bad ?

I'm using a guitar tube preamp digital efx prosesor "bypased" so its only to get a line signal to feed an Audiophile 2496.

Fat is cool for the high strings, fat lead sounds are awesome, but when you go down the low strings sound gets muddy with Tubester.

Anyways Tubester is low in cpu, sound unique and I like it a lot.

Thanks so much for this.

Thank you for the feedback (no pun intended) and the kind comments.

Some more questions if I may:

What kind of guitar/pickup combination ?
Do you feel there is not enough control over the low frequncies with the current EQ scheme ?

I'm using a Washburn guitar which is a strat shape but thicker, migth be a mix betwen Les Paul an Strat, with DiMazios Dual Tone.

I'm guessing here but maybe the low eq center freq is too low and leaves the muddy part untouched when attenuated.

I used a low shelving -6 in 300 hz with a stepped curve and seems to fix the mud issue, but I've heard this issue in high gain tube amps too so maybe it's the own character of that Mullard tube you're emulating.
